About this policy

Effective October 25, 2026. This policy covers the Doo apps for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS, developed by Bruno Massaini.

Your data and iCloud

Tasks, notes, projects, people and meeting labels, attachments, saved places, and preferences are used to provide the features you choose. They are stored locally and, when available, synced through Apple’s iCloud services using your Apple account. The developer does not receive a copy of this content or operate a server that stores it. Apple handles iCloud under its own privacy policy.

No advertising or tracking

Doo does not include advertising, tracking SDKs, or third-party analytics. The app does not send your task database, usage history, or location to the developer.

Apple Intelligence

Doo uses Apple’s on-device Foundation Models for supported intelligence features. Text you ask Doo to interpret or break into steps is processed on your device, rather than sent to the developer or an external AI service. Availability depends on your device and Apple Intelligence settings.

Links and place searches

When Doo looks up the title or preview of a link you add, it contacts that website and may load its preview image. YouTube title lookups contact YouTube’s oEmbed service. Those services receive the requested address and normal network information such as your IP address. Place searches use Apple Maps and send your search query to Apple; a nearby region may be used to improve suggestions. These services handle requests under their own privacy policies.

Permissions and optional connections

Location access supports arrival and departure reminders on iPhone. Photos and files you select are used for attachments, and notification permission enables reminders. You can change permissions in your device’s Settings. On Mac, the optional local agent connection allows agents you configure to read and change tasks. It is limited to this Mac; the agents and services you choose may have their own data practices.

Retention and deletion

Your app content is kept until you delete it, except that attachments are automatically removed 30 days after their task is completed. Delete tasks and other content in Doo; deletions sync when iCloud is available. iCloud storage and backups are managed through your Apple account and device settings. Removing the app alone may leave iCloud data or backups. The developer cannot access or delete your private iCloud content for you.

Support and this website

If you email support, the developer receives the email address, message, and any files you choose to send, and uses them to respond and resolve the issue. Do not include sensitive task data. You can request deletion of that correspondence by contacting support; information needed to resolve an ongoing issue or meet a legal obligation may be retained.

This website is hosted by OpenAI Sites. Its hosting provider may process normal web request information to deliver and secure the site. The website remembers your light or dark appearance preference in your browser. This policy’s no-tracking statement concerns the Doo apps.
